Android VS iOS

Android VS iOS

As the competition for releasing a better operating system annually, the fight between Android and iOS to win the hearts of million and keep the loyalty of the millions that they already have won. The match up against the most favoured os's for smart phones in the world leaves many users happy unless they can't upgrade their software's, the matchup leaves behind more faster, sleeker, attractive and more functional and convenient os's for everyday users.

So less of the chit chat and here we compare the main attributes that will be important to the potential buyers to make a decision on which os to choose. Firstly we will take a look at the design interface or just simply how beautiful the screen lock looks.

So here we start appreciating iOS 7 lighter colour schemes and more attractive on screen and their widgets. With some users complaining about the calendars number not being precise and the clarity not as sharper as their main counter-parts and less realistic. They have taken that into consideration and also 'copy' the fact of the whole screen from android with much less of gaps or none on the onscreen and on some apps. And also have made their apps more smaller and vibrant with the text a bit larger and also have given that iconic simplicity touch that they give to their phones which even android users envy.  As android was almost perfect in design and let their users to layout the apps anywhere they want unlike iOS where they are forced to lay them in grids. Androids apps are just exceptionally flat and with almost seamless background for their apps makes give that sort  smooth feel. For me android has won the lock-screen design part as it looks subtle and genial.

Software Update: Apple seems to get a nice update every year with one or two major tweaks on the software which can be done on some later models and on the current phone. While Android that has sort of a more customizable and a better looking lock screen they seem to have a slower update and the upgrade doesn't seem to be as significant as iOS. But android is much more customizable as you can change the message background, password setting and much more. So this time iOS has won this round although some people might prefer Android creative touch to things but as mentioned above still doesn't get as good updates as iOS.

User friendliness: If you want are not much tech-savvy and want a out of the box phone iOS is strategically for you. With iOS having limited apps with basic functions and not much creativeness, for call and picture clarity iOS is more superior to Android. But iOS is only compatible with their iPhone which is really expensive if you are just going to make calls where as basic phones can do that too. But android is more extensive you can get it on Samsung, Nokia, Sony and more phone brands at various prices and versions. Android is also more functional with allot of hardware which is sometimes low quality. But overall is cheaper with more creative apps. But don't get me wrong allot of apps can be downloaded from either the App Store or Google Play.
