We Just Checked The PlayStation 4 Version And After Downloading The Mode From The PS Store It Becomes A Separate Option On The Main Menu.

The Squad-Based Multiplayer Mode Is Similar In Concept To The Version Released For Metal Gear Solid 4 And Other Earlier Games, And Includes A Class System And The Parent’s Game Same Mix Of Stealth And Action.

Today Is A Big Day In General For Metal Gear Solid V, As The FOB Mode – Where Other Players Can Invade Your Forward Base – Has Also Got A Big Update.

These Include New ‘Event FOB’ Missions Where There’s No Risk Of Retaliation If You Invade A Base, And A Controversial New Feature Called The FOB Insurance Service.

This Involves You Paying Real World Money To Ensure You Get Back Anything Stolen From You In An Invasion. Metal Gear Solid V Already Uses Microtransactions To Build More Than One FOB And With This Update You’ll Also Be Able To Pay To Speed Up The Construction Of New Platforms.

The Update Comes On The Same Day That Bungie Announced The Introduction Of Microtransactions For Cosmetic Items In Destiny, But EA Confirmed That Star Wars: Battlefront Would Not Use Them.
